Eric Deyerl is a mechanical engineer and principal of the firm. For almost 25 years, Mr. Deyerl has been practicing the discipline of accident reconstruction to determine how accidents occur. His areas of professional competence include mechanical engineering, vehicle dynamics, failure analysis of mechanical systems, structural analysis, and mechanical testing.
Mr. Deyerl earned his Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA in 1990 and his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA in 1992. He is a registered Professional Mechanical Engineer in the State of California and is an accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist through the Accreditation Committee for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR).
Mr. Deyerl maintains membership in professional societies including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Society of Automotive Engineers, the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists, the Southwestern Association of Technical Accident Investigators, the Society of Accident Reconstructionists, the American Society for Testing and Materials and the American Society of Safety Engineers.
